A forties feast!

Having had a break for a few days I have been back at it this week. The Decadettes have been busy singing forties music with a themed 1940s party on Friday where the lovely people at Acorns sang along and remembered more words than we did! We then got the audience in the mood¬†prior to curtain up for Weymouth Drama Club’s run of Dad’s Army at the pavilion. The cast were brilliant and put on a fab show that was hard to distinguish from the old TV comedy. Finally today was a wedding fair at the beautiful Abbotsbury Tropical gardens with me performing both as Alex Best and as a Decadette. It was great to meet lots of brides to be and see the lucky couple who won the wedding competition – I’m not sure she could quite believe that she had won. Many congratulations!
