As a choral scholar at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge I was lucky enough to have access to excellent tutors for six years while I completed my veterinary degree. As a member of the college choir I toured widely performing to large audiences in Tokyo, New York, Holland and Spain and was privileged to sing a Cardinal’s Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York. This familiarity with singing in large venues is invaluable in providing confidence and poise.
After leaving Cambridge I returned to the South West to work as a vet and pursued my classical training locally. Since graduating I have performed as a soloist for choral groups locally including the acclaimed Beaminster Singers. I have performed multiple recitals and concerts all over Somerset and Dorset in venues as contrasting as Milton Abbey and Weymouth Pavilion. I have also pursued my love of the stage with several societies, playing many lead roles including Eliza (My Fair Lady), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Charity (Sweet Charity) and Maria (Sound of Music).
I have an extensive repertoire of classical, musical theatre and popular music to draw from but I am always happy to learn something new on request.
